11. TOXOLOGICAL INFORMATION

Inhalation  : Dust generated from dry cutting of brick and tiles, may release respirable and non respirable crystalline silica. Crystalline silica is known as carcinogen and may lead to a condition known silicosis in human if proper precautions are not followed.

Eyes  : Eyes may be irritated by dust generated by dry cutting chemical bricks and tiles, protect eyes from potential injuries from broken chips when cutting or demolishing.

15. REGULATORY  INFORMATION

RCRA  : Brick in its solid form is typically considered a non-hazardous waste for disposal, but local regulation may vary, therefore all waste must be disposed/recycled/reclaimed in accordance with federal, state, and local environmental control regulations. Water containing brick solids, such as from wet sawing operations, should also be disposed of in accordance with federal, state and local environmental regulation. Brick waste should not be used as a blasting agent.

16. OTHER  INFORMATION

KHODIYAR CERAMICS INDIA PVT LTD considers our product an “article” as defined in 30 CFR 1200(b)(g)(iv) and 40 CFR 372.38. As an article, an MSDS is not required and the product is exempt from all other requirements of the hazard communication standard. OSHA requires an MSDS for brick because it is occasionally dry sawed. We recommend only wet sawing of the BRICK and TILE.
